Interdisciplinary Research Clusters

The business school has two interdisciplinary research clusters, TREND and INFIT, to address the management and economic challenges of Pakistan in the 21st century. These research clusters are designed around complex problems faced by the Pakistani industry. GIFT Univesity is located in the Gujranwala division of Punjab that hosts the industrial cities of Gujranwala, Gujrat, and Sialkot. The geographical connection of these three industrial cities forms a triangle due to which this region is commonly called The Golden Triangle of Pakistan. This triangle that largely consists of Small and Medium enterprises contributes 5% to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Pakistan.
